THE WANDERING TRAVELER

Stephie, the founder and creative designer behind Wandering Solstice Design, has spent the past decade immersed in the world of design. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, she holds a BFA in Interior Design and began her career as a Hospitality Interior Designer, working on large-scale projects that shaped her foundation in spatial and experiential design.

After six years in the industry, a transformative trip to India sparked a bold decision—Stephie set off to travel the world, exploring Europe and Asia in search of deeper inspiration through culture, architecture, and art. Her travels eventually led her to live in both Hong Kong and New Zealand, where her journey took a meaningful turn toward sustainability.

While living in New Zealand, Stephie embraced a more intentional lifestyle. She designed and built camper vans, created sustainable jewelry, and delved into branding and creative entrepreneurship. It was there, on a permaculture farm with friends who grew and sold flowers, that she was first introduced to floral design—arranging garden-fresh blooms into recycled mason jars. That simple, joyful experience planted the seed that would later blossom into a full-fledged floral business.

With a background that spans Interior Design, sustainable living, travel, and creative arts, Stephie brings a unique and holistic perspective to the design community. Her work is deeply influenced by her global experiences and passion for intentional, soulful design—an ethos that lives at the heart of Wandering Solstice Design.
